Wiltshire Concrete

Wiltshire Concrete is based on Hopton Park Industrial Estate, one mile east of Devizes town centre.

Wiltshire HBM which is more commonly known as Wiltshire Concrete is a business which prides itself on offering a ONE STOP SHOP for its customers.

Predominantly a ready mixed concrete facility offering deliveries on our fleet of 20, 6m3, 7m3 and 8m3 truck mixers. We also offer a wet batch collect facility at our plant where customers can collect material in trailers and pick ups.

We run a 20 strong fleet of tippers, including 30t artics, 20t, 16t and 4t steel bodied tipping trucks prioviding primary and recycled aggregates to our customers. We also provide a range of aggregate including rockery and decorative stones delivered in dumpy bags where our truck equipped with a Hiab crane can offload the bags on to your drive.

To compliment our ONE STOP SHOP service the company offers vehicles for removing muck to licensed landfill sites or to our yard for recycling. Using our vehicles equipped with grabs we can offer to self load muck from site where no machine loading is available.

We operate crushing and screening plant on site in Devizes, to process all soils and hardcore taken in to Devizes, allowing us to produce material for re-use on site in place of quarried stone. This kit is available to hire, to be used on site with our fully trained operators.

We have concrete pumps to assist with placing our ready mixed concrete and offer road sweepers to enable customers to keep sites, roads and yards etc. clean.

Our service also includes the hire of low loaders and flat bed trailers with Hiab cranes to cater for all manner of transportation issues. We run articulated curtain sided transport for moving larger volumes of material over longer distances, covering the south of the UK.

In order to maintain such a large and varied fleet of vehicles we have our own workshops with fully trained mechanics and plant fitters who are available to assist with any problems our customers may have with their plant or vehicles which is all part of our commitment to provide solutions to our customers' problems.

In addition to the above we have an HGV breakdown recovery vehicle which is available 24/7 to provide cover for our own fleet as well as being able to assist our customers should they require.

Wiltshire Concrete formed in May 2005 with the four Directors, Tracey and Kevin McQuaid along with Phil and Jeff Brown all taking a hands-on approach to the business. Tracey manages the financial side of the business along with marketing and PR, whilst Kevin manages the commercial aspects of the business as well as looking at opportunities for developing and growing the business further. Phil manages the day to day operations of the business with Jeff managing the workshop and maintenance of the fleet. Each utilize their core skills which forms a perfect synergy.
