Faringdon Plant
Opening 6th July 2020
Wiltshire Concrete is proud to announce the opening of its fourth Concrete plant on Monday 6th July, situated in Faringdon Quarry, Fernham Road, Faringdon SN7 7LG.
The Company, who have been trading for 15 years visualized opening multiple plants across the South of England however the recession of 2008 slowed down the original plan forcing the Company to head in a different direction offering additional products and services from its Devizes site such as aggregates, muckaway, recycling, skips and concrete blocks.
In 2019 the Company made a huge investment upgrading its fleet with 54 brand new Renault trucks, consisting of concrete mixers, 8 wheel tippers, road sweepers, block, grab and skip lorries, this created a huge boost to the Company by improving its image and creating an exciting buzz across the industry.
In early 2020 the Company was back on track with its original plan to open more concrete plants but suffered further setbacks due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and after much deliberation, discussion and a steely nerve the Company decided to continue with its plan to open the new plant in Farringdon.
Faringdon plant will be a blueprint of its neighboring Berkshire Concrete producing BSI approved ready mixed concrete for delivery and collection.
Managing Director, Kevin McQuaid insists, having Faringdon plant will enable the Company to offer outstanding products and excellent customer service to new and existing customers throughout the Wiltshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire area.
